This VDA recommendation is aimed at the automotive industry and its supply chain. It describes the technical evaluation and assurance of hardware changes to electrical / electronic components (E/E components) approved for mass production, supplementary to the methodological approach according to VDA Volume 2 [2]. Design, technology, materials, components, PBA and manufacturing processes are taken into account.
