This VDA recommendation seeks to describe the requirement for proceedingqualification for non-destructive testing in the framework the automotive industry and its special conditions. This VDA recommendation is to be used for testing of safety-related components in seriestesting. It serves as an orientation for other non-destructive tests. The contracting parties must agree upon using the procedures described in this VDA recommendation.
