The test method defined in the VDA test sheet shall provide information concerning changes of thermoplastics and elastomers influenced by testing fuels.
This test recommendation allows the user to choose a worst case test fuel for gasoline and diesel in connection with a choice of test criteria, which shall enable the user to identify appropriate materials. This VDA-recommendation intends to reduce the high amount of tests.
