The Road Traffic Type Approval Act (StVZO) is being amended in order to use the vehicle interface for electronic tests in the Periodical Technical Inspection of motor vehicles pursuant to Sec. 29 StVZO.This document describes the VDA concept regarding the implementation, and data required for the implementation, of a fitment test, a status test and the support of the light test via the diagnostic interface as part of the Periodical Technical Inspection (PTI) pursuant to Sec. 29 StVZO.
