VDA 2006: Geometrical Product Specification Surface Texture Rules and Procedures for the Assessment of Surface Texture (Version 07/2003) - Gruppenlizenz (group license), AGB (GTC) Art. 10, 2

This recommendation applies to surface measurement in the automotive industry.
The following Standards apply, completely or with restrictions, to measuring devices and their components
for testing surface texture:
DIN EN ISO 3274
DIN EN ISO 4287
DIN EN ISO 4288
DIN EN ISO 11562
DIN EN ISO 13565-1 and DIN EN ISO 13565-2
The restrictions are described in section 4.
The Standards DIN EN ISO 12085 and DIN EN ISO 13565-3 are not applied because there is as
yet no experience with these measuring methods.
The specification of surface texture is defined in VDA 2005.
