The table below and the remarks and annexes serve to standardise testing procedures and testing conditions for synthetic leather in the automotive industry. The testing methods are intended to apply principally to synthetic leather for seats. Methods and testing conditions for synthetic leather in other applications may deviate from those described here. The requirements the materials must satisfy are specified by the customers in their respective Technical Delivery Conditions. Such requirements are not part of this VDA test sheet.
