The VDA 2 / PPF Tool is VDA QMC's software product based on the seventh edition of the Red Volume, Quality Assurance of Supplies (PPA). The tool supports organizations and customers in consistently planning, conducting, and documenting the production process and product approval (PPA). It supports the PPA agreement and reporting process for a specific part and its versions. The integrated workflow provides complete documentation and controlled sharing, so only the required documents are shared and updated. Deliverables can be attached directly to the relevant sections, reused, and downloaded from a central tab in the PPA process documentation.

The software runs directly in a web browser as a Software as a Service (SaaS) application. All entered data remains in the user's browser and is not sent to a server. After the software has been launched once, it can be used completely offline because the app is stored in the browser. The product runs exclusively on the user's device and communicates with the server only to validate the license and check for updates.
Technical Information
This browser-based software can be used online or offline as a Progressive Web App. All data is stored locally in the browser and can be saved and reloaded as individual files.
A current browser, such as Chrome or Edge, is all that is required. No installation is necessary.
