The NDT method has been selected on the basis of the VDA Recommendation 236-130 "Process Qualification” (scheduled).
The intention of this VDA Recommendation is to represent the technical status of the magnetic particle testing method. The specific outline conditions of the automotive industry have been taken into account. The binding application of the procedures described in this VDA Recommendation is subject to an agreement between the contractual parties. The outline parameters to be adhered to shall be defined.
