The emission factor report „from 2022 is an updated version of the report „Emissionsfaktoren für Strom, Fernwärme und Kraftstoffe“, which was published in German language in June 2019. It presents country-specific emission factors of energy production related to fuel input and final energy produced (electricity and district heating, respectively) as well as country-specific electricity mixes by energy source. Parallel to this document, a companion document entitled "Emission factors for electricity, district heating and fuels – Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document" is published to answer questions that arise.
This zip file contains three documents. Only the Excel spreadsheet is chargeable. The two PDF files can be found free of charge on the VDA page under Publications.
