This recommendation describes the requirements for AlMg alloy and AlMgSi alloy sheet materials with and without coil-pretreatment and is valid for all called standard alloys with max. 3,0 mm sheet thickness (if not specified separately for an alloy).Typical applications are body and chassis sheet metal parts
These products shall be delivered as strip (coils, rings), slit strip or in the form of blanks.
Additional requirements or agreements may be specified between the customer and the supplier, e. g. limited mechanical properties, tolerances of thickness and width and pretreatment.
