VDA 305-100: Recommendation for Integrationg Actuator Control of Electric Parking Brakes into ESC Control Units (06/2018) - Gruppenlizenz (group license), AGB (GTC) Art. 10, 2

This non-binding recommendation by the German Association of the Automotive Industry has the following objective:
Definition of a technical standard for integrating the electronic parking brake actuator control into the ESC control unit (Electronic Stability Control), for cooperation between different suppliers (OES) of the ESC (ESC Assy) and the brake caliper (Brake Assy)
This recommendation is created in reference to the vehicle classes M1 (in accordance with R 2007/46/EG: Vehicles for passenger transportation) and N1 (in accordance with R 2007/46/EG: Vehicles for transportation of goods), with a maximum gross vehicle weight of 3.5 tons. It is also assumed that the vehicle is
equipped with a hydraulic brake system.
