VDA 810-002: RSG-E30 - Testkraftstoff Spezifikation / Test Fuel Specification (Version 11/2020) - Gruppenlizenz (group license), AGB (GTC) Art. 10, 2
By defining borderline quality, this test fuel for gasoline injection equipment covers gasoline worldwide up to an ethanol content of 30 percent by volume [% (V/V)]. The specification is based on the Brazilian Resolução ANP N° 807, 2020, the European EN 228 and the American fuel standards ASTM D 4814, as well as on fuel survey data from 2014 to 2017.
The individual fuel properties defined cover the maximum limits given in the fuel standards cited above. Parameters not defined in the requirement standards are based on 90% quantils of the field data.

RSG-E30 is a test fuel for fuel markets with ethanol contents of up to 30 percent by volume (e.g. Brazil) and is used for tests with and without combustion. The test fuel is intended for component and engines test benches, as well as for vehicle use.
Two types are defined, a summer grade for hot, and a winter grade for temperate climate.
For the testing of special risks, optional additional components can be used. In field fuels these can be present as additives or as impurities.
