By defining borderline quality, this test fuel for gasoline injection equipment covers gasoline worldwide up to an ethanol content of 85 percent by volume [% (V/V)]. The specification is based on the European EN 15293 and the American ASTM D 5798, as well as on fuel survey data from 2013 to 2016.
The individual fuel properties defined cover the maximum limits given in the fuel standards cited above. Parameters not defined in the requirement standards are based on 90 % quantils of the field data.
